Search Gets Fresh

Image
Wallace D. Wattles pointed out in The Science of Getting Rich that the desires of our hearts are attracted to and come to us through the established systems of nature and commerce.  The rapid development and maturing of the internet is no exception to the kinds of systems that are speeding up those processes.

A case in point is the brand spankin' new search site: 30DayTags.com

This brilliant search site allows you to search sites based on 'tags' terms that human posters have chosen to best represent what their sites are about.  Additionally, the content must be fresh.  Whereas with Google and Yahoo! a posting or website (such as a job posting or house for sale) might not even show up until after the house is sold or the job is filled with 30DayTags.com the reverse is true.  The content is available immediately and expires after 30 days.  These means the content remains "minty fresh" as indicated by the mint leaf icons  attached to some listings.

Also, the value of a listing is also determined by user feedback to ensure relevance, not merely popularity as measured by traffic or # of links.  Basically, we're looking at a search results that are as dynamic as the web itself.

There are some folks using their noodles out there.
